This is actually my second attempt at a shape card. My first attempt didn't quite fit the ODBD challenge but you can see it below. This challenge gave me the opprtunity to try out a couple of my Cricut cartridges that I have been neglecting. This challenge also got me on the lookout for something cute to hold my cards for me...we'll have to wait and see what I come up with!
Paper: Recollections, Mosaic Memories
Button and Floss: From Stash
Heart Shaped Card and Die Cuts: Cricut, Wild Card
This is the first card I made for the shapes challenge, but then I decided it was still a rectangle and made my heart shaped card. This is my new favorite card. The pink is much brighter in person. The telephone is the front of the card and it flips up to show the sentiment inside. I lined the back of the card with white paper for the sender's message. I really love this card!

Super cute cards! Thanks for joining in on the ODBD challenge!
ReplyDeleteNeglected Cricut Cartridges are a very sad thing indeed! Way to put them to work! Thanks for sharing! I love them!
ReplyDeleteI have some of those neglected Cricut cartridges too! We need to do some Cricut Challenges! Loved both your cards.
ReplyDeleteBoth of your cards are great. I like the twine on the first one and how the phone lifts up on the second.
ReplyDeleteLove how you wrapped the string around the heart. This came out beautifully and the phone card is really fun too. Thanks for helping us reach the June ODBD goal!
